Richard M. Evans

Richard Evans was appointed to NTVI’s board and elected its Chair in August 2002, and he continues to hold that position. Mr. Evans actively participates in governance and development of the company, including strategic planning sessions and marketing calls to existing and potential customers. In addition to over 30 years of profit-making corporate board experience, he brings a career of plant and construction operation know-how and business administration studies. Mr. Evans has also served as a Director of NTVI Federal, Inc.’s parent corporation, Baan O Yeel Kon Corporation (BOYK), since its inception in 1971. He has held various positions, including BOYK President and Secretary, and has chaired several committees.

Altona Rathbun

Altona Rathbun is currently serving as Vice-Chair of NTVI Federal, Inc., Board of Directors as well as Chair of the Finance Committee. Altona's intent is to continue the stability and integrity of this successful corporation. She is also serving as Secretary on the Board of Directors of the parent corporation, Baan O Yeel Kon Corporation, and she is also a member of the Budget and Audit Committee and the Shareholder Committee. Ms. Rathbun brings over ten years of progressively successful accounting experience to the corporation. She has the ability to establish and maintain a working relationship in varied settings and has an established reputation as an outgoing, flexible and motivated self-starter. She attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage, in the pursuit of becoming a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Rathbun also found the study of Alaska Native history has given her a deeper understanding of the amazing resilience and technological adaptation of the Athabascan culture. She lives in Anchorage, Alaska, as a self-employed accountant and bookkeeper.

John L. Dickinson

NTVI Federal, Inc., Board Secretary/Treasurer
John Dickinson joined the NTVI Board of Directors in June 2006, and has served as its Secretary and Treasurer since then. Mr. Dickinson earned a MBA and BS in Finance/Accounting. He currently also serves as Chair of the NTVI Federal, Inc., Audit Committee and is an active member of the Finance Committee. Mr. Dickinson had served both the statewide and 3-university campus administrations for the University of Alaska for 25 years in various capacities before his recent retirement. His university career included roles of Chief Financial Officer for an electronics research lab and System-wide Assistant Vice President for Finance. Mr. Dickinson had direct responsibility for revenue bond financing for capital projects and bank lease financing of equipment having established and maintained economic feasibility parameters for those financing activities. He also had reporting and oversight responsibilities for the leasing/sale of land, resources, and office/lab space, campus construction activities, and intellectual property licensing. Additionally, he has helped grow and diversify revenues through leadership roles on several past boards.

Linda Evans

Linda Evans has been an NTVI board member since 2003 and an active member of the parent company board since the late 1970’s. Since 2000 she has served as President of the Baan O Yeel Kon Corporation. She is a graduate of the University of Alaska with a Masters Degree in Education, Educational Leadership Degree, and both an Administrative Type B Endorsement and Superintendent Endorsement. Ms. Evans is currently President of the Effie Kokrine Charter School in Fairbanks, Alaska. A 2007 recipient of the Doyon Educator of the Year award, she was also recognized and awarded the Alaska Legislative Citation as a life-long educator in May 2007. Ms. Evans is an experienced, reliable, and motivated lifelong Alaska Native educator and administrator, who values passing on her subsistence knowledge to her children and grandchildren during the summer months and fishing season in Rampart. Ms. Evans has also been active in the community as the General Store Manager, Administrative Manager, and Chief of the Rampart Village Council.

Gary Moore

NTVI Federal, Inc., Board Member
Mr. Moore’s qualifications include 15 years of not-for-profit management experience, five years of owning and operating a tour business and a management and marketing consulting business, two years as a freelance journalist, and five years of U.S. Army service as communications operator. He has technically assisted, directed and administered planning and development for village governments, including Rampart Village Council, served in several counseling type positions, and is currently employed as a police officer. He has an Associates Degree in Applied Business from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/E-Business through the University of Phoenix.

Kevin Krauklis

Kevin Krauklis has over 30 years of domestic and international experience in business management, engineering, design, project management, construction management, manufacturing and public relations. He joined NTVI as its CEO in 2003 and has been instrumental in the company’s substantial growth in revenues and success in the Federal marketplace. Previously, he served as Chief Executive for four companies, developing and successfully implementing strategic business plans that regularly resulted in increased revenues and profits. Mr. Krauklis has been actively involved in the Fairbanks, Alaska, community, having served as Board Chair for the Chamber of Commerce and United Way, as well as in other leadership positions for charitable, economic development, and business organizations. Mr. Krauklis holds an MBA degree from the Harvard School of Business Administration and a BS degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Roger Peretti

NTVI FED, LLC, President and General Manager
Roger Peretti has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology and was instrumental in the establishment of the Professional Services Division within both Northrop Grumman IT and NTVI. Mr. Peretti took an early retirement from Northrop Grumman and spent eight years at Oracle Corporation. He joined NTVI in early 2007, was put in charge of Professional Services in September of 2007, and was appointed Vice President of the Professional Services Division in January 2008. In the spring of 2009, the NTVI Board elected Roger to the position of General Manager of NTVI FED, LLC. Mr. Peretti’s education includes: Bachelor of Science with dual Mathematics and Physics major. Graduate degrees in Operations Research, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Multiple graduate level short courses at MIT and Carnegie Melon. He is also a Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) by the Program Management Institute.

Tina L. D. Long

NTVI Enterprises, LLC, General Manager

Tina Long is the General Manager of NTVI Enterprises, LLC, which is a NTVI Federal, Inc., subsidiary focused on construction operations. Ms. Long has been with the company since 2005. Ms. Long’s resume includes experience in marketing and business development, construction management, project management, contracts administration, and personnel management, plus, an entire career in rural economic development in Alaska. She is a lifelong Alaskan and a shareholder of NTVI Federal, Inc.’s parent company, Baan O Yeel Kon Corporation. Ms. Long has a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing/Business Administration from University of Washington.

Arlette Johnson

NTVI Staffing, LLC, General Manager
Arlette Johnson is a results-oriented individual with over 25 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience. She is well-versed in employee relations recruitment, training, and benefit administration. Her major strengths include the ability to develop programs that increase employee retention and the ability to handle difficult assignments. Before joining NTVI, Ms. Johnson’s varied career experience includes work with the government, small businesses, 8(a)s, non-profits and for-profit companies. Ms. Johnson brings to the position as General Manager a strong work ethic, developed skills and a commitment to excellence. Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral and Social Science.

Lance Umbertis

NTVI Communications, Inc., Vice President
Lance Umbertis has over 25 years experience in the wireless industry, beginning with his career with MCI Long Haul. In 1990, he started STC Netcom, Inc., as a full turnkey cell site construction company with four employees in central California. From 1990 to 2000, STC grew to over 100 employees with seven office locations and expanded their client portfolio to include Nextel, AT&T, GTE Wireless, Winstar Communications, American Tower, Crown Castle, Bechtel, Sprint PC, Western Wireless, Omni point, Voice stream, Ubiqitel, Via Wireless, Nextwave, Cellular One, and over 30 build-to-suit projects. In 2000, Mr. Umbertis sold STC Netcom to Saratoga Partners. Mr. Umbertis stayed on as Vice President of Construction until his contract expired in 2005, then moved to the position of Vice President of Connect 2 Wireless, Inc. In 2009, Mr. Umbertis joined NTVI to manage all phases of site construction for NTVI Communications, Inc.
